Injury Update: Matt Cain

Matt Cain is coming off of a forgetful two seasons of baseball entering 2015. It wasn't that long ago Cain was the ace of the SF Giants staff winning 55 games from 2009-2012. However, the last two seasons have been plagued by injury and mediocrity. Should we expect different results this year? We believe so. Cain is rehabbing from elbow surgery in 2014 and is beginning to throw off a mound. Moreover, Cain is so encouraged by his health he proclaimed he feels like he's 18 years old again. Cain is currently has an ADP of 77 amongst starting pitchers entering 2015. If your a fantasy manager who prefers to not pay a premium on elite pitchers but rather wait, Cain could be an impact arm who can be had on the cheap. Provided he can sustain health in 2015 Cain could be a bargain. Somewhere around 10-12 wins with a 3.50 ERA sounds nice.
***Update***(2-20)Reported no discomfort in elbow during bullpens
