MLB DFS Plays May 29th

Tonight provides a pretty solid MLB slate for us to get into, hopefully those of you who read the piece yesterday took some of the advice I gave. I capped out at 180 points on DraftKings with Pedro Alvarez putting a doughnut zero on the board. Victiv is running an Apple Watch give a way again tonight paying out $700 to first place as well as the watch.

Vegas Odds for the evening as followed.

7:05pm Colorado at Philadelphia(-158) —- T:7.0
7:10pm Washington(-130) at Cincinnati —- T:8.0
7:10pm Miami at NY Mets(-177) —- T:6.5
8:05pm Boston at Texas(-121) —- T:9.0
8:10pm Chi White Sox at Houston(-137) —- T:8.5
8:10pm Arizona at Milwaukee(-128) —- T:8.5
8:10pm Toronto at Minnesota(-112) —- T:9.0
8:15pm LA Dodgers at St. Louis(-119) —- T:8.0
10:05pm Detroit at LA Angels(-104) —- T:8.0
10:05pm NY Yankees at Oakland(-148) —- T:7.0
10:10pm Pittsburgh at San Diego(-112) —- T:6.0
10:10pm Cleveland(-102) at Seattle —- T:7.5
10:15pm Atlanta at San Francisco(-150) —- T:7.0

Pitchers - Matt Harvey who had a rough outing against the Pirates last time out is in a great bounce back spot against the Marlins tonight. Harvey is 5-2 on the season and Vegas has this as the lowest total of the night. Trevor Bauer is also in a good spot this evening facing Seattle, Bauer is 4-1 on the season and been really good over his past three starts. If you want to go across the grain and take a guy facing the hottest team in baseball look no farther than James Shields facing the Pirates. Shields also has double digit strikeout upside anytime he toes the rubber.

Catcher - Caleb Joseph is a guy I like here tonight, has struggled recently but has a good match up. Chris Iannetta homered last night and makes an against the grain play tonight facing Sanchez. Brian McCann has homered in his last three starts and makes for a fine cash play once again this evening.

1st Base - Chris Davis has been seeing the ball really well over his last three games and has a good match up tonight against Karns. Adam Lind is in the lineup for the Brewers tonight hitting cleanup in a game with a Vegas total of 8.5. Lucas Duda hitting 3rd for the Mets tonight is another guy I want exposure to this evening, more of a GPP play for me.

2nd Base - This position is loaded tonight I don't think you can go wrong with any of the top guys in cash games tonight. However right into the next tier of guys I am looking at for GPP lineups I really like Daniel Murphy of the Mets, Murphy has strung together a nice streak of games over his last 10 starts.

3rd Base - I like Todd Frazier tonight he has homers in two of his last three facing Strasburg tonight who has really been struggling this year. If you are going to roll out a Brewers stack tonight I don't mind Aramis Ramirez in a GPP. Justin Turner is available at 3rd on some sites and makes for a nice play if you feel comfortable with your guy at 2nd base.

Shortstop - Johnny Peralta will be my top play of the night in this position. I also want some exposure to Brandon Crawford who has strung together three solid games out of his last four. I don't know if Jung Ho Kang will hit a homer again tonight but until he proves me wrong I will roster him when he is starting.

Outfield - All over Jose Bautista if the weather holds this evening. I want a lot of exposure to Ryan Braun as well at the moment, I have my lineups equally split between Bautista and Braun. A lot of good options in the outfield tonight I can make a case for ten plus guys the choice is ultimately up to you. Khris Davis provides a cheaper alternative to the top guns going this evening, Kole Calhoun has seen his price drop and could be a nice option if you don't have a lot of remaining salary.
