Pitchers- This early slate features some solid pitching options to anchor both your cash and GPP lineups with. At first glance I really like Gerrit Cole, the Pirates are scoring runs and picking up wins, I don't see this changing today. Felix Hernandez is always a great option in cash with GPP upside I think Hernandez reaches double digit strikeouts. If you need a cheaper pivot, you cant go wrong with Noah Syndergaad, facing the Phillies.

Catcher - Russ Martin should be back in the lineup today and his price has come down a bit across the industry, I think he makes a fine cash play. Brian McCann should also be back in the lineup hitting around the middle of the Yankees order that has been scoring in bunches this series.

1st Base - Joey Votto will be a staple for me all across the industry today. I also like David Ortiz today in a GPP. Lucas Duda is another guy I want some exposure to today in this early slate.

2nd Base - Kipnis of the Indians looks to be in a good spot today. If you need some serious salary relief I dont mind Luis Sardinas of the Brewers getting the start today. A GPP option for today would have to be Daniel Murphy hitting cleanup for the Mets.

3rd Base - You could go back to the well with Josh Donaldson as I am sure a decent percent of people will, that is fine for a cash game. However in a GPP I like Josh Harrison today I think he hits a homer and has a few RBIs on the day.

Shortstop - It is national Jordy Mercer day hitting second in the Pirates lineup and has traditionally hit lefties really well, especially at home. If you want to punt the shortstop position today, that is fine as I like Elian Herrera of the Brewers as a real cheap option.

Outfield - Andrew McCutchen looks to be one of the highest priced outfielders across the industry but I think he warrants the price tag today. Jay Bruce is another guy I like with a really favorable match up facing left handed pitcher Kyle Kendrick of the Rockies.
